The principal of Surabaya officially launched the MBKM-A programme, Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka – Administrasi Kependudukan (MBKM-A), on Citizenship Registry, intended to enhance students’ and lecturers’ competencies in the field of education, research and community services, as well as improving quality services for the Municipal Office of Citizenship and Civil Registry in the context of citizenship registry.
MBKM-A will commence in March 2022 until September 2022, both online and offline, with full consideration of the existing health protocols. Students will participate in the programme during working days with the total duration per day is 8 hours, which consists of three-hour mentoring and discussion session with a dedicated mentor, four-hour teamwork, and an-hour long reportage session of the day’s session, during which the reports shall be submitted through learning management system (LMS) that have been provided by the principal of Surabaya.
This programme provides opportunities for students to improve their skill, according to their needs and interests, through first-hand experience which will support their preparation in building their future career.
