The MBKM policy generally provides the right to learn for undergraduate and applied undergraduate students for three (3) semesters outside of their study program. 

The MBKM policy is implemented in order to give freedom and autonomy to educational institutions, and be free from bureaucratization, lecturers are freed from convoluted bureaucracy and students are given the freedom to choose the fields they like.
